Neurofitter

Neurofitter is software for parameter tuning of electrophysiological neuron models.

It automatically searches for sets of parameters of neuron models that best fit available experimental data, and therefore acts as an interface between neuron simulators, like Neuron or Genesis, and optimization algorithms, like Particle Swarm Optimization, Evolutionary Strategies, etc.

• 2007/11/2: Neurofitter 0.9.3 RC3 is now available.
• 2007/10/22: I am planning a release of Neurofitter 0.9.3 before I leave to Society for Neuroscience in San Diego. This will include:
   - 'Configure' script to compile/install Neurofitter
   - A javascript to create the XML setting file using a web form
   - The ability to specify manually a list of filenames for the experimental data, instead of the output_Run0.dat templates
   - Renaming of all 'fitness values' to 'error values'
   - Some bug fixes
• 2007/09/01: Creation of the Neurofitter homepage
• 2007/08/30: Paper describing Neurofitter submitted to the Frontiers in Neuroinformatics Journal
• 2007/07/10: Neurofitter 0.9.2 released
